Finding a Programme

Upskilling in the workforce allows you to stay relevant to emerging tech landscape. DA provides upskilling programmes contextualised for the public sector.

Programme Registration

Step 1: Please obtain necessary approvals from your agency’s internal training request/HR system.

Step 2: Please share this Agency-Sponsored Registration Form with your relevant HR/L&D colleague. Upon completion of details, attach the file to submit via FormSG. All attachment and information captured in the form are encrypted end to end. There is no need to password-protect your file.

Closer to the programme date, either DA or the training provider will inform you on programme confirmation status and follow up on any other administrative matters.

Self-sponsored registrations are accepted. Please fill up this FormSG.

Step 1: Please make sure each officer has obtained necessary approvals from your agency’s internal training request/HR system.

Unfortunately, our programmes are not open to members of the public. You must be a public service officer to register for DA’s programmes.

Please make use of our Programmes Search to find programmes most relevant to you. You can filter programmes by job roles, domains, competencies, duration and more.

You will receive the registration confirmation email from DA or the respective training provider upon class confirmation which is subjected to meeting the minimum participants.

Please refer to the Fees & Schedule section on the programme page for the respective programme you are enquiring on. If any subsidy is applicable, it will be indicated on the page.

Programme Withdrawal & Refund

For withdrawal requests made at least seven (7) working days prior to programme commencement and accepted by GovTech Digital Academy (DA), 100% of programme fees will be refunded (excluding programme material fees and examination fees, where applicable, which will be fully payable).

For withdrawal requests made before programme commencement but less than seven (7) working days prior to programme commencement and accepted by DA, 75% of programme fees will be refunded (excluding course programme fees and examination fees, where applicable, which will be fully payable).

For withdrawal requests made on or after programme commencement, including but not limited to no-show during programme run, no refund will be provided.

For withdrawal requests that are not accepted by DA, no refund will be provided.

For withdrawal requests made at least seven (7) working days prior to programme commencement and accepted by GovTech Digital Academy (DA), the course fees will not be billed.

For withdrawal requests made before programme commencement but less than seven (7) working days before programme commencement and accepted and accepted by DA, 25% of the course fees will be billed.

For withdrawal requests made on or after programme commencement day, including but not limited to no-show during programme run, 100% of the course fees will be billed.

For withdrawal requests that are not accepted by DA, 100% of the programme fees will be billed.

In relation to all withdrawal requests where programme fees had not been paid prior to programme commencement, course material fees and examination fees, where applicable, will still be billed and be fully payable.

For substitution of programme participant, please email The_Digital_Academy_Admin@tech.gov.sg at least four (4) days’ before programme commencement. For any substitution with less than four (4) days’ written notice, this is not allowed and might be subjected to charges.

About GovTech Digital Academy

We provide a suite of ICT&SS programmes for public officers. Based on a “practitioner-for-practitioner” philosophy, these programmes are curated and developed by GovTech practice leaders and industry leaders.

The programmes are based on the GovTech Competency Framework (GTCF) and SNDGO’s WOG ICT&SS Competency Framework (ICT&SS CF). We also tap into the Digital Maturity Index and Ministry Family Digitalisation Plan to meet agencies’ digital transformation needs.

Our courses are designed to be both blended and hybrid in nature. We deliver in multiple formats that are beyond the typical in-person or virtual lectures. These formats may include learning journeys into industry spaces, instructor-led workshops, tech talks, exchanges with the Community of Practice, hackathons and even be offered opportunities for on-the-job training.

Our courses are designed to combine both technical knowledge sharing and complemented with real-world government applications. This helps in public service’s operating context.

Both DA and CSC offer capability building initiatives, contextualised to public service to build the public sector workforce.

DA focuses on ICT capability building to support the public sector's digital transformation and be part of Singapore's Smart Nation journey.

CSC focuses on overall capability building to enhance public sector officers and leaders to develop people for a first-class public service.
