The ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) programme prepares attendees to take the CTFL exam and get certified. This programme is based on the “Foundation Level Syllabus 4.0” released by ISTQB in 2023. This credential is for anyone seeking to attain a credible, proven and a globally recognized qualification on Software Testing.

The CTFL qualification is administered and governed globally by International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB). The certification is awarded based on a one-hour multiple choice examination and is the cornerstone of essential testing knowledge that can be applied to real-world scenarios.

The syllabus provides a comprehensive understanding of the terminology and concepts used in the testing domain worldwide, making it relevant for all software delivery approaches and practices, including Waterfall, Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery.

CTFL certification is recognised as a prerequisite to all other ISTQB certifications where Foundation Level is required.

40 multiple choice questions. 26 questions out of 40 must be answered correctly to achieve the foundation certificate qualification.
